Our extensive liner network and how it benefits you.
When shipping your household goods, or freight to and from Hawaii, it has to go into a container. When shipping a vehicle however, there are two options available. One is called LCL (Less-than-container-load), and the other it RoRo (Roll on, Roll off). The vehicle(s) are typically taken to a major port along the coastline. Some of these locations on the mainland are Long Beach, CA, Oakland, CA, and Seattle, WA.
LCL is sometimes cheaper, in that you can fit 2 - 4 vehicles into one 40' container. Where as RoRo requires the vehicle to be driven onto a special deck on the boat and have its own parking space and strapped down directly to the vessel. RoRo is typically a little more expensive.
We don't just service Honolulu. Fidelity also services all the other islands, even including the smaller and more obscure islands with major ports through our dedicated neighboring island fleet.
Some of these islands include: both Kahului, Mau, and Nawiliwili, Kauai, along with, Hilo and Kawaihae on the Island of Hawaii. Barge services are also available to the islands of Molokai and Lanai.
