Transit times and availability

Trying to fit your needs with sailing schedules can be tough. With Fidelity's network you can rest assure that regardless of your date restrictions, Fidelity is on it.

Typical transit is 5 - 6 days on the water including inventory control. When entering into the US from Puerto Rico, the CBP can hold up your release up to 48 hours.

When setting up your booking, please let Fidelity know what your receiving restrictions are, if any, so we can schedule you properly.

So your vehicle is landlocked, and you might be asking yourself, how do I get my vehicle from here to Puerto Rico?

This is where our carrier network comes into play and our one-stop-shop service makes its debut.

Delivering your vehicle

If you're able to pick up your vehicle(s) from our two locations state-side (Pennsauken NJ, Jacksonville FL), or in San Juan, you need to know what hours you're permitted to enter and recover your vehicle.

Depending on availability, the location for receiving or drop-off can change. Your rep will ascertain and provide this information ahead of time. The hours remain the same for all locations.

Jacksonville, FL:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM EST - 4:00 PM
(12:00 PM - 1:00 PM closed)

Pennsauken, NJ:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM EST - 4:00 PM

Prepare your move checklist. Please click on the appropriate tab below.

  • 1.) Registration and Ownership Title of vehicle. Both documents without any conditional sales or loan.
    2.) If the unit has an active loan then a letter from the bank (original and notarized) authorizing the shipment.
    3.)Copy of driver license of the owner.

    NOTE: Only applicable to company owned vehicles

    When the unit is a company owned vehicle, there must be a corporate letter authorizing the shipment submitted and signed by an officer of the company.

    1.) (Obras Públicas) Certificate of "No Fines" due with $1.50 stamp from local Police Department. Only valid for 3 days counting the day completed.
    2.) Vehicle(s) have to be pre-inspected by Puerto Rico Police Stolen Department. Valid for 5 days from completion.
    3.) (Comprobante en Colecturía) Internal Revenue $10 voucher, code 5122 for each vehicle.
    4.) Certificate of Pressure Wash and Clean, including the motor and beneath the vehicle.
    5.) Original Certificate of no debt with ACAA. +1-787-759-8989 (Valid for 20 days from completion).
    6.) Power of Attorney authorizing Fidelity Auto Shipping and its agents to ship the vehicle(s). If the owner is not present they must also authorize the person who will be delivering the vehicle(s). Please include year, model, serial number.

    No personal items inside of vehicles will be accepted. Only manufacturer's parts or permanent fixtures. All vehicles may have no more than one-fourth tank of fuel.

    Only applicable to PR registered vehicles
    PR plate must be left on the dash of the vehicle.

    A booking reservation must be made prior to delivery of the vehicle. Vehicle cutoff time is 24 business hours prior to scheduled sailing date. Vehicle should be in running condition and keys must remain with the vehicle. Vehicle must contain less than a quarter tank of fuel. Non-running vehicles will be accepted upon approval but for an additional fee. No personal items are permitted inside the vehicle except for manufacturer's parts or permanent fixtures.
